The Leadership of American Piping Products
CEO Al Rheinnecker
Mr. Rheinnecker has served as our Chief Executive Officer since July 2011. Mr. Rheinnecker oversees all operational and sales aspects of American Piping Products, including the sourcing and sale of steel products. Prior to working with American Piping Products, Mr. Rheinnecker founded Clayton Steel Supply Inc., which merged with American Piping Products in 2000. Mr. Rheinnecker has 33 years of experience working in the steel industry. He received a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Business Administration from Webster University.
Managing Director Kevin Koehler
Mr. Koehler has served as Managing Director since May 2014. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales from January 2009 – April 2014. He manages the Chicago, Houston and Philadelphia sales offices and leads the corporate Purchasing team. Mr. Koehler’s more than 25 years of experience in the steel industry includes a position as Senior Vice President at Radnor Alloys (now Edgen Murray) prior to joining American Piping Products. During his 16 years at Radnor/Edgen, Mr. Koehler ran the Philadelphia, Charlotte, and Chicago locations. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
President Matt Danis
Mr. Danis has served as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer since May 2014. Previously, he served as our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer from September 2009 – April 2014. Mr. Danis’ focus is on sales, business development, accounting and finance for American Piping Products. He has ten years of private equity and investment banking experience. Prior to joining American Piping Products, Mr. Danis was the CEO and CFO of WIT Postal Logistics, LLC. Mr. Danis acquired and strategically managed over ten middle market businesses as a member of two private equity firms. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Richmond and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
