A: 7 years.

Q: What’s your role at this company? Tell us what a day is like for you.

A: Controller. A typical day involves collecting from customers, paying bills, making sure everyone gets paid, dealing with all employees’ HR issues, keeping track of our money and taking care of whatever else needs to be done “right now.”

Q: Describe the industry as a whole. Where is it going? What’s the biggest obstacle people are facing in your industry?

A: It seems like we’re doing better every month – hiring more people and selling more pipe. Managing the growth will be our biggest challenge.

Q: What is your most significant professional accomplishment?

A: CPA.

Q: What is the last book you read?

A: “How Privatized Banking Really Works – Integrating Austrian Economics with the Infinite Banking Concept” by L. Carlos Lara and Robert Murphy.

Q: What are your favorite pastimes?

A: I like fishing, watching Cardinals baseball and Steelers football.

Q: Do you have any pet-peeves? Let’s hear them all.

A: When people use the words “can’t” and “fair,” flat-brimmed baseball hats and having to pay for water at a fast-food restaurant.

Q: What five people would you invite to a dinner party?

A: My family.

A: Star Wars (the original).

A: “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC.

A: An Alaskan cruise.
